JHP Electrical have been at Costco Wholesale UK Head Office in Watford to carry out a toilet refurbishment.
For this project, the JHP team has been upgrading the lighting in the bathroom of the store – helping to improve the quality of lighting for staff and customers alike.

Project Objectives:
The primary objectives of the project were to improve the toilet facilities for staff at the Costco head office and achieve a more modern finish. Recognizing the importance of creating a comfortable
and contemporary working environment, their refurbishment aimed to align the facilities with Costco’s commitment to excellence.
Scope of Works:
The refurbishment project targeted two staff toilets over two phases. The scope of works included the installation of new LED lighting through 600×600 panels, the introduction of modern hand dryers with associated wiring back to the distribution board, and the addition of mirror lighting. These elements were carefully selected to enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
Timeline & Budget:
Each phase of the project was meticulously programmed over 8 weeks, with dependencies on the electrical elements of works. Thanks to efficient planning and execution, the electrical components were delivered on time, ensuring that the entire project stayed within the allotted time frame and budget.
Stakeholders:
Throughout the project, communication with stakeholders was a top priority. Relevant parties were consistently informed of timelines and attendances. Additionally, the project welcomed design
changes, and an effective change management process ensured that these modifications did not disrupt the overall program.
