We recently completed work for Chesterfield hockey club and what a great project it was to be a part of!
This Hockey field was designed to 350 lux and has provided the club with an unbeatable solution for lighting. Once the project had been completed the club were more than satisfied and would recommend upgrading to every club out there.
Achievements And Services Provided:
JHP installed 20 MS fittings to existing columns adjusting/angling to suit the provided design and fixing pest control to each fitting for added protection.
A new safety light was installed halfway up one of the existing masts to ensure the light was placed over the walkway up to the hockey pitch for its users.
3 Masts out of 8 were not securely based so JHP made sure to follow all health and safety procedures and had a crane in place to lower the masts that were not fit for the lowering tool design for the masts on site.
New drivers were installed in the base of the masts to ensure longevity to the control gear for the newly installed fittings.
Once the installation was complete Electrical testing was completed in accordance with BS 7671:2018 and a NICEIC digital minor works certificate was provided for all relevant works.
Once the lights had been installed and all was in working order, JHP returned back to Chesterfield to carry out a lux level report, this provided the club with a certification that the lux levels were being achieved. This is a MUST for any new LED install.
