At JHP Electrical we love to give young people the opportunity to jump straight onto the career ladder, which is why we have several apprentices and are continuously looking for more. We have the experience and expertise to provide them with the knowledge and training for the job and so they can excel in their career. We do this to ensure our customers still remain satisfied with the results of our work, but also to allow those leaving school more opportunities.

All our staff receive regular training and qualifications to make sure our customers receive the service they deserve, along with ensuring our work members are praised and appreciated for the work they do. We know how important this is to ensure a good workplace culture remains and every member of the team stays motivated from this.

There are many different reasons why people are choosing apprenticeships as the route for their future. First of all, it’s a change from what young people are used to which is sat writing work at a desk for the past few years. With an apprenticeship you get real, hands on experience in a real job role. You are able to go straight into a role you always hoped to go into after school. This means learning from those you know, having access to great support when you train. These specialist trainers are there to help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Also, avoid student loans. Many who go to university come out with a significant amount of debt. As an apprentice, your employer pays for your training and also pays you a salary.
