First of all, it’s a change from what young people are used to which is sat writing work at a desk for the past few years. With an apprenticeship you get real, hands on experience in a real job role. You are able to go straight into a role you always hoped to go into after school. This means learning from those you know, having access to great support when you train. These specialist trainers are there to help you gain the skills and knowledge you need to succeed. Also, avoid student loans. Many who go to university come out with a significant amount of debt. As an apprentice, your employer pays for your training and also pays you a salary.
